Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text fragments that a website asks your browser to store and return on subsequent visits. They are the standard mechanism for keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, or recognising you across pages. Other technologies (localStorage, IndexedDB) are covered by the same rules.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: required to deliver the service you requested. They cannot be disabled because turning them off breaks login. The ePrivacy Directive exempts strictly necessary cookies from prior consent.
- Preferences: remember non-essential UI choices (the cookie consent record itself is the only one we currently use). Stored only after you opt in.
- Analytics and marketing: we currently set no cookies in this category. The toggle is exposed for forward compatibility, and future analytics tooling will respect a stored "off" choice.

4. How to refuse or change your choice
You can re-open the consent banner at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so will sign you out and clear your stored consent record. Browser maker instructions:
- Mozilla Firefox: Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
- Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.
5. Changes to this policy
We will request fresh consent if we add a new non-essential cookie category. Editorial changes (typo fixes, clarifications) are versioned in the consent log without re-prompting you.
