Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on LoginSeal you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept either, do not create an account.

2. Account registration

You must be at least 16 years old to consent to data processing on your own behalf, in line with GDPR Article 8 (member states may set a lower threshold down to 13; check the rules applicable in your country). Below that age, registration requires verifiable parental or guardian consent. You agree to provide accurate identity data and to keep it up to date through the profile portal.

3. Your obligations

You will not use the service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to harassment, fraud, copyright infringement, or distribution of illegal content.
You will not attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limiting, or any security measure.
You will not scrape, mass-download, or otherwise extract data from the service except via the documented APIs and within the rate limits attached to your developer credentials.
You will not impersonate another user, public official, or organisation.
You will not use the service to develop, train, or evaluate competing identity products without our written consent.

4. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice where reasonable, if you breach these Terms or if a competent authority requires us to. You may close your account at any time from /profile/privacy; closure starts a 30 day cancellation window after which the account is irreversibly erased, subject to retention obligations imposed by law.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced where feasible. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers, force majeure events, or actions taken to mitigate active security incidents.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or in connection with the service is limited to the amounts you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Intellectual property

The service, including its source code, branding, and documentation, remains the property of 12inc.eu or its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you upload. By using the service you grant us the limited licence necessary to host, display, and process your content for the purpose of delivering the service to you.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [NOT_SET: JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9. Dispute resolution

Before resorting to court action, you agree to contact us at privacy@id.devquest.invalid so we can attempt to resolve the dispute amicably within 60 days. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Failing amicable resolution, the competent court is [NOT_SET: COMPETENT_COURT], subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect, giving you the opportunity to close your account if you do not accept them. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
